Applications:
Used to control the flow of pedestrian traffic
into or out of areas. Passage may be monitored by a
staff member or electronically by a card reader, floor
mat activator, photo eye or other devices. When connected
to an EAM, (electronic security system), gate will lock
when alarm is activated. Extensive use in retail stores
for handicapped access, in libraries to complement book
control and in commercial facilities to increase security.
