- Locate gate in desired position. Note the spacing
between the end of the arm and a fixed post (or another
gate arm) must be at least 2". This is to prevent
the chance of a hand becoming lodged when it closes.
- Mark the flange hole locations.
- Remove gate and drill 4" deep holes with a
3/8" carbide tipped drill.
- Clear holes of dust and hammer the wedge anchors
into the floor leaving 1 1/2" showing.
- Set the gate in place over the anchors, and tighten
the nuts level with the top of the anchors. Hammer
the bolt down to the flange surface and tighten.
- Check the post(s) for plum and make necessary adjustments
adding shims if necessary. It is important that the
posts are plum to ensure proper alignment of the arm(s).
Please note the operating instructions supplied with
the gate. It is important to have knowledge of the emergency
release feature.
